Just ended a consult call with someone who took up my VIP audit funnel offer. A promising young guy running ads for businesses in Singapore. We covered some stuff on his own client acquisition... Then spent most of my time answer his question on ads. Before he consulted me... He's already engaging a well known UK ads guy for consulting. (Which provided good advice) However, one thing that got me concerned was how some of the concepts he learned was very "theory based". For example: When you first launch ads, it will go into 'learning phase' Which means the campaigns are still learning and you are not supposed to touch it. That's theory. But in reality, after you launch an ad for 1 week, you can see whether it's working or not. If it's not bringing you leads, just kill that ad. No amount of 'learning' will help. And technically, sometimes it's hard to exit that learning phase. If you are running conversion ads (let's say eCommerce ads) You'll have to get 50 conversions in 7 days before it will exit the learning phase. What if you don't get 50 conversions in 7 days But your cost per purchase is still acceptable? (Which means you could be profitable?) Do you kill it? No mah. (Pardon for the Singlish lol if you meet me in person you'd know I'm super Singlish) I hear so many different models of running ads. Another one I hear a lot... Is that we should run top of funnel ads... Then middle of funnel ads then bottom funnel. All these sound good in theory. But what if your budget for ads is just $30/day? Would you wanna still spend money on top of funnel ads which won't bring you leads? Again, no mah. You'd wanna spend that $30 to get more leads so you can convert them into sales. My point is... You'd wanna exercise your own judgement... Theory stuff always sound good. But in reality, whether it makes sense or not... You gotta know. Ok, gtg. Haven't been consistent with my emails (except last few launch emails you received over the last few days) Just this week alone, 2-3 people told me they enjoy reading my emails. Which is nice to hear hehe :) Talk soon
