Greetings from Macau :)

Brought my parents here for a short trip, just me and them.

Here's a pic for you:

They're getting old...

So just wanted to spend more time with them.

Inspired to write this email after seeing so many people gambling in Macau.

It just puzzles me that there are soooo many gamblers here.

There are casinos EVERYWHERE.

In every hotel.

And they are huge.

(Btw, do you know I got checked for ID verification?)

Not once.

But FIVE TIMES at 5 different casinos.

The min age to enter is 21.

One bouncer told me I look 18. Whatttt?

I am a happy guy :)

So back to the story.

Seeing so many casinos, it's only natural for me to go check it out.

The best part is we went in to grab the free drinks.

Not gonna lie, the atmosphere is pretty electric.

People cheering...

Free drinks...

And today...

I saw this one guy win $2500 SGD in just 5 minutes.

(He was playing baccarat)

But FIVE MINUTES.

Most people would be envious and would want to make $2.5k in 5 mins.

But here's what I know...

He's gonna lose it all.

(I don't mean to curse him)

Why?

Because the odds are ALWAYS stacked against you in a casino.

The house always wins.

It's literally designed that way.

You might get lucky once, twice, maybe even three times...

But long term?

You're screwed.

That's just basic math.

So while I was watching all these people throw their money away...

I couldn't help but think about business.

You see, in the casino, you're betting on pure luck.

But in business?

You're betting on YOURSELF.

And that's the best bet you can ever make.

Think about it.

When you invest in your business...

When you spend money on ads, on coaches, on learning new skills...

You're improving the odds in YOUR favour.

You're not playing a zero sum game.

You're creating value.

You're building something.

You're developing skills that compound over time.

The more you invest in yourself, the better you get.

The better you get, the more money you make.

The more money you make, the more you can reinvest.

It's a positive feedback loop.

Unlike the casino where it's a negative feedback loop.

The more you play, the more you lose.

Simple as that.

So here's my question for you:

Are you betting on yourself?

Or are you playing it safe, hoping luck will strike?

Because I can tell you right now...

The people who win in business are the ones who invest in themselves.

They buy courses.

They hire coaches.

They run ads.

They take calculated risks.

And yeah, sometimes they fail.

But even when they fail, they learn something.

They get better.

They stack skills.

Meanwhile, the guy who won $2.5k tonight...

He'll walk away with nothing but a good story.

Maybe no good story,if he loses more than he came with.

So what's my message in this email?

Stop betting on luck.

Start betting on yourself.

Because you can really create your own luck.

Invest in your skills.

Invest in your business.

Invest in systems that actually work.

Because THAT'S how you win long term.
